Do you need to find out the distribution of load in the recipient? Would you like to assess the impact of water load when changing mining activities or different scenarios, concerning, for example, the breaking of dams or damage caused by an accident?
Finnish Environment Institute SYKE has developed a modelling tool that can be used to assess the distribution and concentrations of an emission, including the harmful impacts on water organisms. The tool is suitable for Environment Impact Assessment (EIA). The service can also be used to assess the potential risk of sulphate on water stratification.
The input data for the service is discharge and concentrations of the substances to be examined. The result will be obtained in numerical as well as graphical form when the availability of the results for communication and reporting purposes is much more effective.
