We are looking for an insightful director to promote sustainability transformation and guide the Finnish Environment Institute's (Syke) scientific work for a five-year term from 1 January 2024 to 31 December 2028.
The post will be open to public applications, as the current director’s term ends at the end of the year. The research director will lead Syke's highly motivated team of researchers and experts and be responsible for the quality, ethics, and developing the effectiveness of Syke’s scientific work. The director will also liaise with the scientific community, contribute to the strategic management of Syke and act as a foreperson to two Unit Directors.
Fluent level of Finnish and satisfactory level of Swedish are required for the post. The deadline for applications is 19 July 2023 at 15:00.
