GloWater project tackles the dual water crisis of security and sustainability from the perspective of Finland and its global connections.
Enriching the current conceptualization of water security with Earth system resilience, Earth system governance and comprehensive security, the project’s scientific objective is to provide a novel understanding of, and to develop and validate solutions to sustainable water security and its governance.
The societal objective of the project is to create concrete means and conditions for public, private and civil society actors to work towards shared sustainable water security aims.
